Because it turns out she gives you the wrong answer for logarithms. The problem is that she always calculates the natural log, even when that's not what you asked for. There's no way (that I've found) to get her to calculate a common base-10 log. Screenshots after the break...

So, tonight Amazon held an Alexa + Smarthome tech talk at one of their new buildings in Seattle (which is awesome, btw). The talk itself was fairly uninteresting for the existing development community, as it was targeted at an audience new to the tech. The good thing about the event (aside from free food and drink), was that there were a ton of Alexa team members there for us to pester. And boy did I ever. Recap after the break...
Last week, we wrote about the rising trend of self-reviewing happening among Alexa skills. That article made the argument that astroturfing is happening, and it's decidedly uncool. Today, I want to attempt to quantify this with a little bit of data.
